GOOGLE: Search On Mobile With Continuous Scrolling

Google is always looking for new ways to make it easier and faster for people to find the information they need quickly. Earlier this year, we launched a redesign of the Search results page on mobile for a more modern experience that’s easier to scan and navigate. Continuous scrolling is now available on mobile devices to make searching for results easier and more intuitive. When you reach the bottom on a search result page, your phone will automatically load the next set of relevant results.

Not supported

While you may find the information you need in the first few results pages, you might want to continue looking. Most people looking for additional information will browse at least four pages of search results. This update allows people to seamlessly browse through multiple results before they need to click the “See More” button.

For example, if you have a more general question like “What can i do with pumpkins?” then it might be a good idea to look at more results before making a decision. You may be surprised at the number of possibilities you find, such as no-carve pumpkin decorations for Halloween, pumpkin seed recipes that will make your pumpkin worthwhile carving, and other ideas on how to get the best out of your gourd.

So for everyone with a little extra curiosity, this new Search experience is starting to gradually roll out today for most English searches on mobile in the U.S.
