ALISO VIEJO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–BrainChip Holdings Ltd (ASX: BRN), (OTCQX: BRCHF), a leading provider of ultra-low power high performance artificial intelligence technology, today announced that Chief Development Officer Anil Mankar will present “Intelligent Edge AI: The Future is Now” at the Linley Fall Processor Conference 2021 in the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Santa Clara, California, October 20 at 3: 10 p.m. PDT.

BrainChip’s presentation is part of the conference’s session “Low-Power Sensing & AI.” As part of the presentation, Mankar will demonstrate real-time use cases and share recent developments of its Akida event domain neural processor. A 10-minute Q&A session will immediately follow the conclusion of his speech. “We are thrilled to show BrainChip’s Akida NAPU in action – live at the event.” Advanced neuromorphic computing is now possible with Akida. It provides a path to new technologies that will drive the rise of intelligent AI@the Edge. Also, it solves issues in machine learning such as privacy and dependence on the cloud. “I am looking forward to sharing how BrainChip’s Akida NPU addresses a demand for ultra-low energy and incremental learning as part of my presentation to the Linley event.”

BrainChip’s Akida brings artificial Intelligence to the edge in ways that other technologies are not capable. This solution is small and ultra-low-power, high-performance, and allows for a broad range of edge capabilities. The Akida (NSoC), and intellectual property can be used in Smart Home, Smart Health and Smart City applications. These applications include, but are not limited, home automation and remote control, industrial IoT sensors, robots, unmanned aircrafts, autonomous vehicles and medical instruments, object detection and sound detection, odor detection, taste detection, gesture controller and cybersecurity.

The Linley Group has been hosting the industry’s most prestigious processor conferences for more than a decade. The Linley Fall Processor Conference 2021 returns to Santa Clara October 20 and 21, with a virtual event October 27-29 and November 3-5 with live Q&A and breakout sessions. The presentations this year will focus on processors and IP cores in AI applications, embedded, data centers, and server design. About BrainChip Holdings Ltd (ASX: BRN, OTCQX: BRCHF)

BrainChip is a global technology company that is producing a groundbreaking neuromorphic processor that brings artificial intelligence to the edge in a way that is beyond the capabilities of other products. The chip is small and ultra-powerful and allows for a variety of edge capabilities, including training, learning, and inference. This event-based neural network processor was inspired by the spiking nature the human brain. It is implemented using an industry standard digital process. BrainChip pioneered Akida(tm) a processing architecture that mimics brain processing. It is both scalable, and flexible enough to meet the needs of edge devices. The edge uses sensor inputs to analyze them at the point of acquisition, rather than sending them via the cloud to a central data center. Akida was designed to offer an ultra-low power, fast AI Edge Network that can handle vision, audio, smell, and other smart transducer applications. This reduces system latency, which allows for faster response times and lowers the carbon footprint of data centers.
