President Lazarus Chakwera has received his letters of credence from the Egyptian Ambassador to Malawi Mohamed Elsharif at Kamuzu Palace, Lilongwe.

Elsharif stated that Egypt will continue to work with Malawi in areas such as agriculture, education, and health after presenting the letters.

He mentioned capacity building training among the programmes that Malawi has benefited and will continue to benefit.

“Let’s thank the Malawi Government and Egypt for their cordial relations. We will continue to share the skills gained through capacity building training and ensure that they add value for Malawians.” Elsharif added.

Over the years, the Egyptian Embassy has been able to send 377 Malawians for capacity building programmes.
