SAUDI ARABIA NEWS:

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia will host the first edition of World Taekwondo Women’s Open Championships 2021 from Nov. 25 to Nov. 27.

The Champion will be held in the Stadium’s sports halls in Riyadh, with the participation of more than (171) players, coaches and technical administrators from (36) countries. The championship will feature weight competitions (up to 46kg, 49 kilogram, 57 kilo, 62 kilo, 67 kilos, and up to 73 kilos), as well as open weight. The President of Saudi Taekwondo Federation Shaddad Al-Omari affirmed that this championship is important due to the historic decision of the International Taekwon-Do Federation, which introduced a special version the Women’s World Taekwondo Championship.

Al-Omari confirmed the readiness of the Saudi Taekwondo Federation to host the tournament. — SPA
