On November 8, 2021, Metromile announced that it had entered into an agreement to merge with Lemonade in a deal worth approximately $500 million. Pursuant to the merger agreement, Metromile stockholders will receive Lemonade common stock at a ratio of 19:1. The deal is scheduled to close in the second quarter of 2022.
