LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Fisker Inc. (NYSE: FSR) (“Fisker”) – passionate creator of the world’s most sustainable electric vehicles and advanced mobility solutions – today offered a sneak peek of its Fisker Ocean all-electric SUV.

A pair of vehicles took in a classic South California sunset at the famous Manhattan Beach pier. The event was streamed live and featured Fisker CEO Henrik Fisker and Chairman Fisker. Fisker employees, their families, and national media all attended the event.

The Fisker Ocean officially starts production on November 17, 2022, at the Graz, Austria factory of Fisker’s manufacturing partner, Magna-Steyr. The vehicle will be a combination of innovative technology and sustainable materials. It will also have the timeless, yet dynamic design Henrik Fisker is famous for. The vehicle will be priced from $34,799, before federal and state tax credits and incentives.

For the CEO, the beachfront location was very special.

He said that the inspiration for our Fisker logo came from a sunset over Pacific Ocean.

The two vertical lines that represent the engineer’s ruler and pencil, which are the tools of our trade, symbolize the origins of the orange and blue colors. “It was a day like this that inspired the logo,”

Fisker said. Hildy Stern, Manhattan Beach Mayor, joined her. In her remarks, she stated that Manhattan Beach was proud to support a local business on this special day.

And, for the record, Fisker is Manhattan Beach’s first car company. We want to encourage residents and businesses to switch to electric cars. To make that happen, our city has set out to embrace the electric revolution.”

Mayor Stern noted that the city already has 100 EV charging outlets across the Manhattan Beach and is working with Fisker on a program to develop electric vehicles for our police and fire departments.

Before the event concluded, Henrik Fisker looked forward to the LA Auto Show and the global reveal of the Fisker Ocean on November 17. He said, “We have more surprises than we know.”
