Actor Simu Liu isn’t just breaking ground as the first Asian leading actor in a Marvel film. He’s also breaking bones—and lots of them.

Marvel Studios just released a minute-long teaser fight scene from much-anticipated film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The clip flawlessly mixes comedy with seriously impressive stunt work, which is no doubt a Marvel specialty. If this scene is any indication, this entire movie is going to be epic.

In the teaser, Shang-Chi, played by Liu, battles assassins on a commuter bus to keep the bad guys away from his precious emerald pendant. While Shang-Chi is being held up, his friend Katy, played by Awkwafina, tries to defuse the situation.

“You have the wrong guy,” she says in the scene. “Does he look like he can fight? Come on, bro!”

Well, this minute-long cut proves Shang-Chi indeed can fight with pro-level martial arts moves and impressive agility. In fact, the fight captures the attention of the entire bus, with one commuter even livestreaming the beat down.

“Yo, what up y’all? It’s your boy Cliff coming at you live on the bus,” the guy says to his virtual audience. “I actually did take a little bit of martial arts as a youth so I’m going to try to grade this fight as we’re going.”

Come on, we all know that guy.

Fans have pointed out this “knowledgeable” bus goer is actually the same actor who famously asked Spider-Man to “do a flip” in 2017’s Homecoming. Now that is a piece of movie trivia that will impress your friends.

Liu previously gave Men’s Health a peek into his training regimen for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which including martial arts training, general muscle-building, and lots of flips.

“Obviously, learning the martial arts is a big part of my training, but the other part of being a Marvel superhero is, well, looking like a superhero,” Liu told Men’s Health in May. “So when we were building that superhero workout, that Marvel body, it was really important for us not to sacrifice range of motion and explosiveness, because I’ve still got to be able to throw a punch at the end of the day.”

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings hits theaters on September 3. You can check out the full trailer here.
